{"id":4197,"date":"2025-06-30T19:03:58","date_gmt":"2025-06-30T16:03:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/antiracistfestival.gr\/?page_id=4197"},"modified":"2025-06-30T19:31:16","modified_gmt":"2025-06-30T16:31:16","slug":"26o-antiratsistiko-festival","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/antiracistfestival.gr\/en\/","title":{"rendered":"26th Antiracist Festival"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=&#8221;4221&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]The slogan of the 26th Antiracist Festival (July 4-6, Alsos Goudi) is a verse by Mahmoud Darwish, the great poet of Palestine.<br \/>\nWe made this verse our slogan because:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Often poetry can speak better about politics than politics itself,<\/li>\n<li>The genocide in Palestine continues, casting its heavy shadow over our era,<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Justice&#8221; has become the word that summarizes not only the demands of the historic mobilizations for Tempi, but the anguish of an entire generation to find oxygen,<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Justice&#8221; is demanded by the dead of Pylos and Evros, the refugees who suffer the murderous push-backs in the Aegean and Mediterranean, the migrants who are presented as a threat to deprive them of basic rights, the young men and women of the &#8220;second generation&#8221; who cannot get papers in the country where they were born and raised, the Roma who are killed by &#8220;accidental discharges of police weapons,&#8221; LGBTQI+ people who find themselves under the threat of the neoconservative attack,<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Justice&#8221; is the word where we meet, starting from different points of departure; the first word of a new language of unity and emancipation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Antiracist Festival constitutes a mass political mobilization against racism, sexism, fascism, the Far Right; a mobilization for the solidarity of the oppressed.<br \/>\nIt is also the great celebration of &#8220;together.&#8221; We live together, work together, fight together, anguish together, dream together, celebrate together.<br \/>\nThe Festival is the celebration of people who want a world without barbed wire and second-class citizens, a world open to each and every person. It is our answer to individualization, competition, cynicism, hatred.
